William
good to her you are finally getting some much needed rain in yur area
:applause: glad your getting to rain William. Hope it lasts long enough to do some good!!!
And here's hoping you don't get TOO much!
We got 3 inches locally but some places only an inch. Just a year ago on June 9 we got 12 inches right on top of the Comal river overnight and had one of the worst floods ever. We could still use another 10 inches but over a 2 week period. Unfortunately we've already lost 75% of the crops but we'll take what we can get.
Here's hoping you get the rain you need in the quantities you need in in to prevent floods! We are surviving up here and getting a little every couple of days but the big lake near me is 6' down and the Corps of Engineers closed the main swimming beach on the 15th...
Up here we're all hoping for NO rain. First cutting hay is down all over the valley.
Kittitas Valley Alfalfa and Timothy are both world famous, but if it get rained on
it's just cattle feed.
Prayers to ya William, hope you get what you need in the rain department. We have have been getting plenty up here, not to much, but it has been a lot cooler than normal and everything is staying wet so people grumble some. I used to live in a desert region, I know what you are going through and it isn't fun. I can take the abundant rain and some cooler temps.
Too much or too little, it's a hardship either way. Tust two weeks ago I volunteered to work with a cleanup crew in helping restore one of the local park trails that had been damaged during last year's flood. You'd think that if we can build an oil pipeline hundreds of miles long then water pipelines from where there is too much taking it to somewhere there is too little wouldn't be a challenge.
William, Good to hear some of my old stomping grounds are getting some water. Here is the Mo-Kan area we are wanting folks to do rain dances DOWNSTREAM!! Uh, please. The Muddy Mo has topped levees a lot of places just up stream from KC. Praying that everyone gets out in a timely manner without injury. Now who did I loan that boat to?????? pnic

Unfortunately that would make sense William... I'll let it go at that or it will turn political..... :mini-devil-28492:
You used the "P" word. pnic ROFL ROFL bunkr
In spite of the fact that we get around 100" a year, water rights are words to wage war over around here thats also generally true anywhere west of the Rockies. As someone recently stated don't buy gold buy land with water on it,I think thats good advice.
