wish I could say I made em , but no . the top one was done by armi antiche in italy , got a hell of a deal on it !dealer had some stock that was damaged in storage ( rust) thing retails for $379 , got it for $50 . the next three are museum replicas pieces made by windlass steel works , actually better made than I`d expected , and the bottom piece is a paul chen piece ! it and the claymore are probably the best of the bunch , followed by the basket hilt . the three are the sharpest of the group ! all have carbon steel blades !

made three of those between 1985 and 2003 !sold them and have`nt worked up the get up and go to do another one ! unless you`re doing a very plain early dirk the carving gets rather intense ! ROFL there`s a lot of good ones out there , museum replicas has a nice one , and of you dont mind spending a wee bit more , the cold steel dirk is top of the line !  check here   http://swords.museumreplicas.com/search?SearchTerm=scottish%20dirk , or here , http://www.coldsteel.com/scottishdirk.html  , a tad high but you can find them on ebay for less !
