All kidding aside, that's a great looking capote, I bet it is warm.
don't need a fire with this one. i only wear it when it's freezing.. went to brokenhawks place in January for some "BS" & pie session. there was probably 2-3 feet of snow and very cold. he had a fire going and i could not to close, because I'd sweat. mainly because of the capote... flwa

Aren't they great that way? Went camping in January with some friends from college, started getting cold around the campfire and I got out my capote. One person called it a "redneck snuggy" so I schooled him on the history of the garmet. I also let him see that I'd taken off all my cotton sweat shirts and synthetic jacket in favor of just one layer of wool over my clothes and be comfortably warm standing away from the fire. Once it dipped into the teens that night he started adding logs to the fire, and I backed my chair up and stretched out my legs.
Bulldog Lady made my mine, my dad's and my nieces capotes in time for their birthdays, October & December, then worked on mine while we were all hog hunting down here in Texas. I think we had all that cold weather just so I could tell BD "thank you again" every day.
once you have one , you wonder why you never did?? i purchased this one on-line for $120.00 including the shipping. it was a steal. thanks william thmbsup.
William, she appreciates all your kind words!!! and she loves to make them for you guys.
If anyone wants one made all they have to do is PM Bulldog Lady and supply the blanket and the measurements I think she usually gets $60.00 plus the shipping...

Nope - I don't wear one - I use a blanket pin and drape it over me works better for me and that way i can snuggle up with her it gets chilly....
