They both look good and like the one with the patch knife on the strap

         I like them both , looks like they will hold up to hard use .  thmbsup Am I right in thinking that the flap hold down on the beaded bag is by pulling the beaded thong through the slot/hole in the flap ? The top bag is like mine , with the seams exposed on the outside .

thanks for the good reviews everyone. to answer a question,yes the beaded thong is to keep the flap shut. the nice thing about these bags, that they don't close flat. so easy to get in and out of !!! thanks again everyone. such good people here on the site  thmbsup.

Like em both. I really like the beaded thong as a closer. I'll have to remember that one.

Nice bags. As someone else said, they look sturdy. I like a thing that looks good AND can stand up to some use

Thanks to all for the kind words.. I'm not a delicate kinda guy,and when stuff gets snagged, I just pull away.That's why the heavier the better!!
