Is it just me or do the thing you make your self work better that the same thing buy form some where else.
Good looking gear.
Great stuff! Isn't it fun to make your own stuff?
i've enjoyed making things like that for years but with mobern guns there just ain't much to make, the only possible exception to bought things being no as much fun or good is when you find good plunder at a yard sale or something! I was going home yesterday and I passe this roadside antique place,I've been driving by it meaning to stop or ''beiing called'' for months now ,so, I did, went in,looked around saw a bargain boxthat said 3.00 ea. or 4 for 10.00 and there in plain view was a brass ,,adjustable BP measure for a muzzleloader I had one like it years ago A nd I m' sure it cast more than 3.00 then.I also bought a large coin for 2.25 that I might make into a silver front sight .
Bison Horn,
I was trying to think of something to put on it and keep it kind of crude and simple and the block sort of struck me as looking like a tombstone, so I thought of what some backwoodsman with a sort of dry sense of humor might think while plannin'to send some enemy to his quietus.I also thought of it as kind of '' ''appropriate''!
that's some good looking gear you have. thmbsup
