Title: Couple of small horns
Post by: Mongo40 on February 08, 2011, 04:36:35 AM
I got a couple of horn tips off Rev awhile back an made me a primer out of one an a small powder horn out of the other or I guess it could be a priming horn to. Not through scriming on the white one yet but this is it for now.

Hey, Mongo.  You're not going to actually let yourself be seen with those awful looking horns, are you? ROFL  Tell you what; I'll take them off your hands before your reputation is ruined.  Just send them to me for disposal. 'shok'.

Wheres the blood, I don't see no blood. Aren't you suppose to bleed when you do a horn.  :o I did a little work on my black horn and about lost my finger. Thank god for superglue. ROFL

Just heated and twisted two staples for a horn. 1 went into the wood the other I heated several times and sunk into the neck like they talk about. Worked good but now my garage is airing out. :qz: Gonna try to scrimshaw a compass onto this one. Try to post pics of it again when I can figure it out.
