Post by: Bulldog lady on December 01, 2010, 03:34:41 AM
Got a new dutch oven trying to get seasoned for next spring so found a bag of stew meat in freezer, thawed it out, thru in bag of flour,  some hot oil in oven, seared it good, threw on some garlic salt, pepper, onions, can of beef broth and put her in the oven,  2-3 hr 350, check and added some more water, and can of mushrooms , 250 for another hr or so when TV break, mashed taters, rolls and quick supper and TENDER!  Left overs on noodles or such.  So simple even a mt man can do it!! strpot

Who says i do not like vegetables?  I do like them in moderation... which means not every meal needs three vegetables to go with the main meat course... and sometimes i just like some meat and bread especially if I am doing the cooking...

i like between 3 to 7 different veggies, all at once, with a little meat, potatoes, rice, and BREAD! along with that, applesauce, cranberry sauce, pickles, olives, HOT peppers, salted peppers, pickled onions, and more BREAD!
