Grew Up 20 Minutes North of Stockbridge, MA. The local residents have had much respect for the Stockbridge over the years. There is a Burial Ground that is maintained by the local  Historical Society, for the Stockbridge. They come once a year back to Town, and a fine time is had by all. Nice post to read. Had the opportunity to meet David Stillwater, Chief of the Stockbridge, when I was a small child. My mother is full blooded Mohawk, and was an A.I.M. Activist in the 60's and 70's. Met many  interesting people back then...
