Title: The good thing about injured
Post by: shootrj2003 on November 18, 2010
The good thing about being injured is mama wants me to be careful so I don't screw the surgury up soooo.. the two boys get the heavy work -bringin in wood, haulin trash out etc. I get the womens work dishes ,cleanin house, workin on warclubs, leatherwork,,powderhorns etc. the bad thing is,I can't pick up the blue rdge or the Renegade to shoot them but i'm working on a shooting staff soon as I can feel comfortable with the recoil of the .54 the Blueridge is longer and they are both a little awkward with one arm and if you slip its painful but I'm workin on maybe a deer this year maybe.

Sounds like you might want to put off deer hunting this year and focus on getting healed up.  Have the boys take you ice fishing -- they set up a shanty, cut holes, haul gear, make you hot coffee, etc............... you sit and fish. :applause:
