this is a bag and horn set i made for frank he ask that i post it for him------------

Dryball

Tom,

Always meant to try making a double bag...just never got around to it. Was it much more work then a single with gusset and two compartments?

Ned

FrankG

Thanks Tom !!! Thats goin with 'Ginnie' on the 4th of Oct. to make meat !

tom-h

ned to me it is actually simpler to make  i just dont like sewing in gussets  im thinking ranger has made a few maybe he will voice his thoughts on it. but to me it is easier ;D

melsdad

Man there are alot of fantastic bags posted so far.

Ranger

I'm with Tom on this one. Gussets are a straight pain in the butt to get lined up straight and keep them straight. Then there's the fact that all your crap is thrown together in one big bag. It's much easier to organize in 2 smaller compartments and you still have all the room. I also have plans for a double bag that i will post in the patern forum for folks to use. Just a note on those patterns I make, they are VERY easy to change. If you don't like the flap style, simply draw another with the same proportions. Just my thoughts...

Chaffa Hosa

The only bag I have made got taken away by my grand daughter Haley back in the summer

melsdad

That bag couldn't have gone to a better place.

Roaring Bull

Prettied our bags up awhile back with some nice iron.

David,

That's cheating! No fair including your rifles! :D Are those Pedersoli and Lyman from Cabelas? The upper one looks like my Cabelas Kentucky, and I think the bottom one is a Cabelas Hawken...am I right?

Ned

Roaring Bull

Cabela's Kentucky, Traditions Hawken.couldn't find a lefty in North Texas anywhere........had to order it on-line....had a few bugs but we got'er knocked out and shooting great now.

Dryball

If I'm not prying...who's the lefty?

Ned

Roaring Bull

Wild Bull.........shoots left but is a righty at everything else......left-eye dominant

Dryball

Thats the way of it with me also. Left eyed...but ambidextrous.
